Antenna control units (ACU)

The Antenna Satellite Controller, ASC0012A model, has been designed to command the movement of antennas on three axes. Easy use and high level of automation, mean the system can be used by both expert and non-expert operators. The device has been designed for use on the mobile station system; mechanical dimensions are 1U rack. The control panel consists of six buttons, four for selection, one to confirm (ENTER) and one to exit and go back (ESC). The control panel allows direct command of antenna movement along 3 axes, with the 13bit Optical Encoder, apart from the control of various device functions. Also this equipments have improved with the ”Antech Track®” system which allow to find any satellite in any site. In fact the system guarantee the auto-pointing when the North or/and the GPS don’t give any dates.

Ease of use and high level of automation, mean the system can be used by both expert and non-expert operators. The device has been designed for use on the earth station system. The control panel consists of the Web Windows Interface and allows direct command of antenna movement along 3 axes, with the 16bit or 13bit Optical Encoder (depending on the antenna system).
